BASIC CLASS EXPECTATIONS

  • A dancer's class attendance is very important. It allows for strong muscle memory development in the body.

  •  A dancer will feel confident in choreography and not fall behind if attending each class.

  • Please be on time for class so you don't miss the warm up. Warm up is important in keeping your muscles warm, safe and stretched so injury does not occur.

  • If a student misses class please have the parent check with the teacher to see if a private class is needed for catch up. (Fees vary).  A student missing a class affects the whole classes progression in choreography.  The dancer is responsible to catch up on missed choreography before next class. If a dancer is in a competitive tracks C1-3, and has missed more than 3 choreography classes, the dancer's participation in competition will be up to the teacher's discretion. If illness occurs, this does not count towards the 3 absentees. If your dancer is interested in the competitive track please email us at inhouseperformingarts@gmail.com with any questions!

  • If there is a question or concern for a teacher regarding your dancer, please email inhouseperformingarts@gmail.com.  Miss Chelsi and Miss Louisa can help directly or forward the email to your teacher during day time hours.

  • If a dancer needs to miss a class please email the teacher and allow as much notice as possible.

DANCE SOLO AND DUOS & PRIVATE COACHING

  • Dance solo and duos are for competitive dancers 8 yrs+. These dancers require strong attendance, taking at least 2 Ballet classes and 1 Jazz Tech class a week  with a strong work ethic.  Our Instructors will connect with dancers they believe are ready for a solo or duo.

  • Solo's will perform at all competitions and one dress stage rehearsal. Only 5 solos will be included in our year end show performance. Top graded marks by the adjudicators will be the deciding factor in choosing which dancers will perform in our year end production.

  • Solo fee list is available by emailing inhouseperformingarts@gmail.com.

Private Coaching:

  • Private coaching is open to any dancer that needs extra help with their regular classes or would like to excel at a faster pace, (fees vary.)
