First day of dance class September 11th 2023.
In House studio is OPEN on School Pro D Days.
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Studio closed September 30th. Classes are running Monday October 2nd.
Thanksgiving Day Studio closed.
Remembrance Day Studio closed Saturday November 11th. Studio closed Monday November 13th.
Christmas Break studio closes Sunday December 18th 2023 , opens Tuesday January 2nd 2024.
Family Day Studio closed.
Good Friday Studio Closed, Easter Monday studio closed.
Spring Break studio closes Monday March 18th, opens Tuesday April 2nd 2024.
Victoria Day studio closed.
Monday June 10th 2024, no classes running. (Day after show weekend.)
Last day of classes Saturday June 22th 2024

COMPETITION DATES

We do a minimum of 2 Competitions per season. Competition prices are set by the individual company. Prices typically range from $35+ per dancer in a group piece. Solo prices range from $80+. Fees vary, based on Vendor/Company
Competition Stage Dress Rehearsal : Saturday, April 6th 2024, 1pm-7pm, Venables Theatre Oliver . *Mandatory Rehearsal for competitive groups. Only group pieces this year at Venables + beginner solos to use full stage for first time.
Solo/Duo Fundraiser Show Centre Stage: Saturday April 13th, 7pm 2024, solo run through rehearsal on stage in the morning before evening show. Jenny Mitchell will send out an email with time slot details.
Kiwanis Dance Festival Penticton : April 22nd -April 30th Cleland Theatre, Penticton
Kiwanis Highlight Show: May 12th 2024 (We are in Victoria for Summit)
Summit Dance Challenge in Victoria : Saturday May 11th - Sunday 12th 2024, (Competitive classes cancelled Thursday 9th and Monday the 12th for travel days.)
Great Canadian Dance Challenge Kelowna: May 17th-21st 2024, Location: Kelowna Community Theatre . Highlight show at the end of the event on Sunday night.

SPRING BREAK DANCE CAMP 2024!

When: *Monday March 25th- Friday March 29th, 2024 with Jamie Doll!

Time: 9am -2pm

Class info: Ages 8-12 years

Your fun filled day will include multiple styles including Jazz, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop and more!. Bring a lunch, snacks and plenty of water. No dance shoes required, clean indoor running shoes for Hip Hop. Get excited for your fun filled week at In House Studio!

Cost: $330 (E transfer preferred)

"Mean Girls" the Musical Junior with Jamie Doll!

*Come join us for the week of learning Mean Girls the Musical Junior! (Roles for both males and females!) Don't miss out on this amazing musical theatre week of learning a whole fun musical in one week with a performance on the Friday! Come learn how to sing act and dance with Miss Jamie!

SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE WEEK!

*August 12th-16th 2024

*Instructor Hailey Neufeld (In House Performing Arts Faculty) + *Guest Instructor Mackenzie Denis (Canadian School of Ballet.)

(*Please see schedule below for classes offered this summer for your dancer's level!. Our week consists of Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Acro, Modern and Ballet. Don't worry if you don't tap or do Acro, there is a Lyrical class option as an alternative running in the other studio!

Juniors: ages 7-9yrs (9:30am-12pm) Half Day

*9:30am-10am warm up

*10am-11am Acro

*11am-12pm Jazz

*12pm end of day.

-Please bring sacks and a water bottle. Please wear dance attire or something easy to move in with. Please bring Jazz shoes if you have them.

Cost $180.00/week

Intermediate: ages 10-12 years (9:30pm-3pm) Full Day

*9:30am-10am warm up

*10am-11am Large group Inter/Adv Modern Choreography

*11am-12pm Large group Inter/Adv Ballet Choreography

*12pm-12:30pm Lunch

*1:30-1:15pm Intermediate Modern Tech/Improv

*1:15pm-2pm Intermediate Jazz Choreography

*2pm-3pm Tap (Mon/Wed/Fri) Acro (Tueday/Thursday)

(If you prefer not to Tap or take Acro, Lyrical will be offered in the other studio)
