What an honour and opportunity to have Miss Leslie teach our dancers at In House Performing Arts Studio! Your dancers will not want to miss this amazing summer training opportunity with one of Canada’s top professional teachers! Leslie was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she was able to develop her professional career in Musical Theatre through several productions at Rainbow Stage, there upon earning her Canadian Actors’ Equity status at the age of 18. Selected favourite productions include playing the role of Roxie in Chicago, Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, and Patsy in Crazy for You. Internationally, she was featured as the Apache Dancer in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond in Chicago, Illinois and toured with Showboat for Livent Inc. During this time she met her husband, Scott, and together they moved to Calgary to open Drewitz Dance Productions where they have been teaching for 19 years, earning many prestigious awards for choreography and dance excellence. Leslie is also a registered teacher in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. Leslie was inducted into the Rainbow Stage Wall of Fame in 2017.

What an honour to have Miss Mackenzie back for another summer dance intensive at In House Performing Arts! Miss Mackenzie brings fun and excellence in her Tap, Acro and Jazz training education! Mackenzie began dancing at the age of 3, training in RAD Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary. Since joining The Canadian School of Ballet in 2015, she has completed her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 2 examination with Distinction and had numerous roles in The Nutcracker including the Rat King and Clara. Furthermore, Mackenzie was invited to dance alongside professional dancers in Ballet Kelowna’s Canadiana Suite and even had the opportunity to be a part of Disneyland’s Dance the Magic Parade. She was fortunate enough to compete in many local and out-of-province competitions while in CSB’s Company B, placing very well. In 2018, Mackenzie travelled to San Diego, California, participating in DancerPalooza’s very own Travis Wall Experience where she took classes from Travis Wall, Mark Meismer, Teddy Forance, and various others. During that same year, she became a faculty member of CSB, where she found her love for teaching Ballet, Tap and Jazz specifically.
